Quality sewn heavy duty linen cloth Scottish Saltire; Flag size: 4x5 feet; 153x122 centimeters.

4:5 aspect ratio azure Scottish Saltires are specially sewn with accordance to official design proposed by Heraldry Society of Scotland. 4:5 ratio is also recommended by the Court of the Lord Lyon. 

Linen flags of Scotland by default are supplied with the following flag fixture and heading types: rope & toggle; rope loops; dark brass eyelets; white linen flag heading; sturdy grey linen flag heading. On request flag can be supplied with any other custom fixture type: crisp white braided linen rope, sleeve hole, four dark brass eyelets for enhanced vintage look and etc.  

Sky blue linen cloth Scottish Saltires are sewn using qualitatively woven medium weight 100 % linen (approx. 180 g/sqm). Although linen is on of the most durable natural woven fabrics, special care taken is a best guarantee for the linen flag to serve a long time. Do not expose flag to continuous harsh weather; take it down during night and upon spotting first signs of tear and wear, send the flag back to us for a free repair works (P&P charges are paid by customer). We recommend hand washing the flag in warm soapy water and leaving it to dry by itself. Finally, natural linen fabric simply loves to be steam ironed in medium to high temperature.

I contacted Easy Flags about the possibility of one day introducing a St. Andrew's cross in light blue linen. Luke enthusiastically responded to my email and said that he would be happy to make such a flag. We discussed the exact specifications over the course of several emails. I had done quite a bit of reading about the flag and thought I knew what I wanted but in the end, Luke was the one that introduced me to the Heraldry Society of Scotland specifications. I was thrilled at the suggestion and was happy to have found something close to an official design. I have never had such truly incredible customer service from a company. Luke and his tailors are true professionals and it was an absolute pleasure to do business with them. As for the flag itself, the photos don't even come close to doing it justice. The linen itself is gorgeous. The stitching is meticulous and the pieces are sewn straight. What more can be said about a quality flag? Sometimes the simplest concepts are the hardest to actually execute but this is perfection. Thank you again for such an excellent product at such a reasonable price. (22 Jun 2011, 19:01)
